This year's Rescorla Festival (17-19 July) will be launched on Friday 17th July at 7pm by the celebrated Harry Glasson. This special event brings together the strong tradition of Cornish secular song with the passion of religiious Sankey music. Whether you want to join in the singing or just listen, you are very welcome to be part of a wonderful evening based on community and tradition.

On day 2 of the 2026 Rescorla Festival (17-19 July) there will be a Celtic flavour in order to mark Cornwall being the featured nation at this year's  Lorient Festival. At 10:30am there will be a  workshop to discuss Cornwall's connections with the other Celtic nations. Then in thr afternoon starting at 2:30pm we will embark on a Celtic Journey exploring the theme through music, language and storytelling with a growing number of performers including Kirsten Becker, Griffith Collins, Geoff and Annabelle Coad, Lamorna Spry, Maryanne Thomas and Ryb an Mor (Jayne Downing, Lynn Simms ) Come along and listen/perform.
