On Saturday 21st March the Rescorla Centre will be holding a Placename Day. At 10:30am we will have a discussion on the history and meaning of Cornish place names. At 2:30pm Dr Lamorna Spry of Cornish Story will speak on her project looking at how placenames are pronounced and there will be an opportunity to to record local names. This is a change to the existing programme Family and Place which will now be held on Saturday 18th April.
